David Macadam has over thirty years of retail, commercial and residential real estate industry experience, during which he has completed projects totaling in excess of USD $5.2 billion in Canada and the Middle East. A senior global executive, David is widely recognized and acknowledged as a leader in his field.
With a wealth of experience in leadership, development, asset management, revenue generation and corporate team motivation he transforms complex international challenges into rewarding opportunities.
David is a regular contributor to local and international newspapers and magazines with articles on topics associated with current retail industry trends, commercial real estate and residential property challenges and opportunities. He has appeared on BBC, Bloomberg, Dubai One, Dubai City 7 TV and Dubai Zee television as a retail property commentator in the MENA region. In radio, on Dubai Eye 103.8, David is regularly on air as the retail industry expert, property market commentator and guest.

Currently David is Regional Director, Head of Retail for Middle East and North Africa (MENA) with Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL). JLL is a global property advisory and investment firm with over 1000 offices world wide and a work force in excess of 37,000 employees. JLL is the market leader in retail property management in North America, Europe and the Far East with the greatest number of shopping centres under management.
Elected Chairman of the Canadian Business Council (CBC) in Dubai, and the Northern Emirates, David continues to be a contributing member of the CBC over the past years. He was elected Vice Chairman in 2009 and 2010.Back To Top
